I once read a story about two men who each built a house.  One was wise and the other was foolish.

The wise man built his house on a solid foundation.  When the heavy rains came against the house, it was not destroyed because it was built on a solid foundation.

However, the foolish man built his house on the sand and when the rains, floods, and strong winds came, the house was destroyed.

By meditating on this story, I was able to see how important it is to build houses on solid foundations.

This compares to roofing: all families should feel protected, safe and confident when bad weather hits like the wise man made a good investment
